I'm Frank, a product of my product. I can tell you today that I have learned how to naturally manage my symptoms related to Post-Traumatic Stress and anxiety. Starting on my healing journey, as a physician assistant in the Army, I needed to find more natural therapies for my Soldiers. They were not capable of being on long-term antidepressants and other mental health medications. I wanted to help them find true healing.
Since my time of service, I have implemented changes in 5 key areas that have significantly reduced my symptoms. I refer to these as the 5 Pillars of Unconventional Wellness. They are: nutrition, movement, sleep, reduce toxins, and combat stress/anxiety.
We will discuss these in more detail, but most importantly, I distill these concepts into practical steps that you can get started with immediately. Let's get going!
Puppies Behind Bars
Puppies Behind Bars (PBB) trains prison inmates to raise service dogs for wounded war veterans and first responders, as well as explosive-detection canines for law enforcement. Puppies enter prison at the age of 8 weeks and live with their inmate puppy-raisers for approximately 24 months. As the puppies mature into well-loved, well-behaved dogs, their raisers learn what it means to contribute to society rather than take from it. PBB programs bring the love and healing of dogs to hundreds of individuals every year. The dogs bring hope and pride to their raisers, and independence and security to those they serve.
